Home Visits to ALS Patients by Akdeniz University

Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Hilmi Uysal, a faculty member of the Department of Neurology at Akdeniz University Hospital, and as part of a Scientific Research Project, home visits to ALS patients have begun in Antalya.

These informative visits, offered free of charge to ALS patients, aim to:

• Educate the relatives of patients about the disease and its progression,

• Train family members and/or caregivers on care procedures,

• Provide psychological support to the patients.
